The designer collaborated with Crocs once again this season, this time linking them with mink furs. But it was his sponge-trimmed pumps (yes, sponge) that stole the show. Talk about taking comfort to a whole new level.
2,Charlotte Olympia’s latest collection was an ode to film noire, the designer’s favorite film genre. Among 1940s-style pumps and printed slogans from movies, her latest offering also included newspaper-printed oxfords and boots. They were cheeky and unexpected — both Olympia’s signatures.
3,Leave it to the London-based designers to show quirky footwear. For her fall ’17 collection, designer Simone Rocha showcased shaggy fur pumps with Perspex heels. The whimsical styles played into the ready-to-wear’s outdoorsy theme, which was all fanciful takes on pieces like anouraks and outerwear.
